They are having a Truck, Tractor and ATV pull here next month.
Small Community and the dealer is trying to talk me into bringing my 800 down for the ATV Pull.

How would one of these on the PXT tires do in something like that.

I've never seen an ATV pull before. Is it similar to the Truck and Tractor pulls just a smaller less weight sled?

TIA

Sounds like you may have to go with some beefer tires, and it all depends on weight you are needing to pull! I have been to many tractor pulls, but never seen a wheeler pull! Need to post some pictures.

I seen the polaris proof video and the polaris beat all. I figure it would do the best being that it is so heavy and that it is awd. I would think that the low gear would also beat all. Go for it, but don't smoke the belt! I would look in to a suspension lock too. I have one and when I install it I feel like I can pull any thing. Once I pulled a 16 ft dual axle car hauler loaded with an atv. Pulled it easy, I backed it and everthing.

I'm guessing the pull will be on dirt that's not packed hard. I don't know that a different tire would be better or worse on dirt. I think a little extra air would help with the weight. I've seen a video once of a pull with a small version of the sled for T & T pulls. Maybe a Google of ATV pull will shed some light. I hope you show them how it's done Bro.

I guess one concern if I did go would be my buddy (the dealer) he is probably going to bring something really bada** to the show.

Afterall he did get into the whole Polaris thing to help lower the cost for the Snowmobile racing habit.
I am told that back in the day, he was pretty much unbeatable.
Even now when he can ride there aren't many that can touch him.

Could be fun as long as I don't break something.

If you break anything blame your buddy and tell him to fix it. You wouldn't be in that mess if he didn't talk you into it.

u should definitely get a suspension lock, and if ur tires still have pretty good traction, i'd run it like that, if u get beefy tires and a lock, the wheeler will want to bounce on you, just keep the wheel speed up and hammer down. if u don't have a lock, then i'd run some different tires and turn ur springs up all the way if they aren't already, i would only run 2 to 3 lbs of air in the tires either way though, more surface area on the ground grabbing

Well if he owns the dealership I'd enter. He may have a set of slighty used and better tires that you could use for the day.
Geez, a friend that owns a polaris dealership...............I'm jealous!
