95 sportsman 4x4 trouble

Default 95 sportsman 4x4 trouble

I am having trouble with my 95 sportmans 4wheel drive it was run with a completely dead battery and it burnt all the lights out. I replaced the lights,they work now.But now i cant find any fuses for the 4wheel drive.Anyone know where i should look?

I don't know if there are any fuses. Try looking under the hood.

An electromagnet in the front end is what locks them in. Check for power to the front diff. with the four wheel drive on. If it has power then your front end is messed up, either the magnet or a mechanical part. If there is no power then it could be the switch or the head unit.

Ok,i will check that.I have ckecked for power to the switch,dont have any there.I am sure there are no fuses,unless they are inline.Never did find any of them either.

Just so ya know. My four wheel drive went out on mine one time and it was the head unit.
