Now, i've misplaced the manual, i don't really know how to change the oil on it....I've had a yamaha, and an old kawasaki, but i'm not sure about how to go about changing the oil on this one, so, lemme post up soon,.....thanks!

Well I have two 2006 Sp 450's and there is a process to the FULL oil change........The plastic holding tank has a drain plug near the bottom to drain this..........Be carefull not to over-tighten this when putting back on.....May strip the threads....
Second there is a drain plug under the motor for the 3/4 cup left in the crankcase.....This is reached through the frame ........
Third there is a pick-up (filter screen) that can be cleaned and checked ......on the oil line hose.......
Most here check this every second change ...as it is clean when I check.......
And last the top rubber line from the oil tank has a SLIT(crack) in the line to let pressure out if built-up in the tank .....This line needs to be pinched off(before the cut in the line) to PRIME the system when the screen and crank case have be removed/drained....Then start while the line is pinched off...........after about 10-15 seconds.............open line back up and put your ear there...............You will hear a RUSH of air IF THE SYSTEM PRIMED...........IF not repeat.......
You can do a search on here ...This was covered many many times..........Caper...........
