Any problems with 06 800???
#1
I found a 06 800 sportsman at my local dealer that was just used to move boats around. It has 5 miles and 1.3 hours on it with the full warranty starting from the day the bike is sold. They are letting it go for 6,000 out the door with a winch so I filled out a app. this afternoon and will hear tomorrow if I can get it or not. Has anyone had any problems with the 06s? I know certain year models had problems with fuel pumps and ECMs going bad. Was the 06 one of those years? Thanks in advance.

no ecm issues that i knew off on the 06 800. the only thing i will tel;l you is make sure you keep your radiator 100% clean (like them all) or it will over heat. some heat heat melting issues but mostly on the 05' models but i never had any issues that i didnt cause on my 06'. you decided to for go the new ones i take it. thats not a bad price on the bike.

Thanks. I've heard about the ecm issues and was wondering if it affected the 06 models. I know all to well about the over heating issues due to mud. My 03 would clog up in just a couple of hours of riding. I moved it to the rack and my problem was solved so I will probably do the same to this one. I wish the radiators sat higher on the polaris's but o well.

Well, I checked my credit report today and I need to sell the mustang before I get another polaris. My credit score is a 720 but my debt to income ratio is not looking good. The wife doesn't have any credit so everything is in my name. Hopefully the car will sell before the end of the year. Thanks for the info guys.

I still got my 05 500 honda foreman though. No need to jump into another until I get rid of the stang I guess. It's tempting though.

you could always sell the honda first lol. its a nice looking car so you shouldnt have too much trouble i would think selling it if the price is right. besides its not worth getting over your head in debt for a wheeler for sure.

Hey stendori, I sure thought about tradin the honda in on the polaris. The honda is paid for. The wife won't let me do it though. The whole purpose of me gettin the polaris is so we both will have something to ride. I've had the car up for 13,800 but I'm going back up to 15,000 now that the 3.99% deal is almost over. I was just trying to sell it before the deal ended. I've got over 12,000 in mods alone tied up in it.
