Sad but true...add a pipe and clutch mods and in a strait line you may have a chance. Being realistic.

On the ground yes, in the air no.

I have no problem keeping up with a 400ex that runs in our group. All he has is an aftermarket pipe and all I have is an aftermarket pipe. I can't beat him in a drag but am close usually. He flies through the whoops that just kill me, but I murder him in the mud or any obstacle that I can use my 4x4. I am really impressed with those 400ex's and if any kind of MX stuff with lots of air is your thing I would highly recommend it.

On the other hand, if you never want to be stuck and still stay pretty durn competitive in all other aspects (except jumping, this bike is heavy), the Scrambler 4x4 continually surprises me with its capabilities.

Cheers,

MrMan
