After successfully installing new boots on the front I decided to make sure the awd still worked. So I flipped the quad over climbing a hill. It really more like rolled over onto the right side then onto the seat. It ran for about 10 seconds then died as I flipped it back over. It ran briefly afterwards (badly) now it wont start at all. I have noticed the plug keeps getting fouled and the oil doesnt smell like gas. I have tinkered with it for a few hours now and cannot get it start. Any ideas, or am I going to have to bend over for a shop?

sounds like it flooded it self out. if the plug keeps getting wet turn off the gas and make sure the plug is good and dry. also did check the air box for gas or oil? hold the throttle wide open to clean out the cyclinder while your tring to start it. just an idear.

If the air filter is wet get a new one. Whenever I rolled one of my quads over I just let it sit for awhile before I tried starting it. All the gas and oil has a chance to go back where it's supposed to be. They were flooded and started hard but ran good afterward. I guess I was lucky.

yeah it worked. I found out what the problem was. The flywheel key was sheared. my local dealer did not know what it was when I described it to him. I brought the old one in and even found a picture with it. I tell you if you are at all capable you are better off on your own. I mean every small engine I have ever seen has a key sometimes its called a woodruff key but its there. The thing cost 8 bucks and will be here in a week. ridiculous.

Gonedi. Gone like Gandhi. When it didn't show up the same day like last time, I figured it was gone for good. When the first two were stolen, the '97 was found totalled out but the '01 was never recovered. It figures they would keep the newest one. Now they have an even newer one. It didn't have 300 miles on it. By the time I got it back last year, summer was over. I rode it once, plowed snow 20 miles, and they stole it before summer started.
