piston size

Default piston size

96 sport 400L I pulled my top end off because I have a broken piston ring trying to figure what size to replace the piston with it says 86. somthing mm on the top of the piston but I cant find any wiseco piston that says 86 on it i can only find them up to 85 mm the guy I bought it from had rebuilt it what the hell kind of piston did he put in this thing

dont know if this made any sense any of you heard of a pistion for a sport/scrambler 400l being a 86. mm

According to this you need an 83mm piston. It's $99.99 for a Wiseco. But if if was over-bored to 86mm you have to ask for that size. You actually need to measure it down to the exact mm to find out what you have. I only see 85mm at this site too.
