its a 1/8 hose

Don't know about the bigger 4 strokes, but on the Trail Blazer there is a check valve on the carb vent. It's a smaller hose compared to the one on my Trail Boss, and the Boss hose doesn't have the check valve.

my carb has a vent line from the bottom of the bowl and exits out the skid plate with a check valve on it.so gas can exit out without sucking water in

 

I looked at the pic on your page and that is the carb drain / overflow hose. I have 2 sp 700s and both of mine have it.

 

It makes sense that there would be a check valve or filter on that hose. I've just never seen one. Seen lots of other clear hoses though. Thanks for the education, guys.
