dose anybody know can you put a pistion from a different type of bike in a scrambler if the mm are the same size ive looked and looked online but cant find anything that say for polaris 400 in a 86.92mm piston I found one for a husqvarna
someone please let me know I would love to get the wheeler back on the dirt

 

The wrist pin diameter and length would have to be identical as well.

 

what the heck is a cylinder/piston sleeve

 

the cylinder is what the piston goes in, the sleeve lines the inside of the cylinder between the piston and the cylinder walls

If you dont know these basics you best leave the work to a shop.
And you DO have to have a piston for a 400L Polaris that is the right size for the bore of your cylinder

 

Also the pin height may not be the same. If not, it may hit the head or really lower the compression ratio.
