He has a 250 arctic cat so anything with more power is something he will like.
he would be better off riding a donkey named polaris.</end quote></div>

my scrammy kept up in the dunes unless my buddies wanted to be dicks then i just ate sand. it had enough power for the dunes in michigan and was rather fun to ride and jump *nothin monsterous the scrammy isnt made for that* but it did what i asked of it. If you look in my pics i have some shots of my 2 X 4 scrammy at the dunes. I usually see them going for about $2500 for a 02 so for 2k they either need the money or it needs some minor repairs. I would suggest puttin some paddles on it for the dunes

The Scrammy 500 has the same horsepower as the 400 2-stroke. I'm sure there are endless mods as FTW stated.
One place that has a lot of Polaris mods is Aaen but I think they're a little pricey. A stage 1 kit gives you the most bang for the buck, 2 & 3 are good, 4 & 5 are over a grand, but can get you 25% more power, so it acts more like a 650 than a 500. http://www.aaenperformance.com/Power500.asp
Hot Seat Performance is a preffered vendor of the forum so you should at least take a look. I heard a few good things about them. I like the idea of the speed kit since they pick components that work well together. That would be good enough for me since it's a balanced package and I don't need the ultimate everything. I think I would spend the extra bucks for the ceramic coated pipe. http://www.hotseatperformance....duct_ID=2201&CATID=248
