Default Oil change kits

Who has the best prices on oil change kits? I'm looking for one for my new 500 X2. It would be easier for me to pay shipping then drive an hour to the dealer.

Thanks

Try and find someone selling a deal of like 4 or 5 oil filter so you only have to pay shipping once and that should get you through the year and then get your oil from an auto parts store or buy a few gallon from the stealer.

I wonder if the auto stores 1/2 mile from me would have the right oil filters? The nearest NAPA is in another city.

I at least want to use polaris oil until the warranty is up, just to save headachs if something does go wrong.

4-5 filters a year? How often do you need to change oil? I thought that I read in the manual that it was like 50 hours or so. I'll have to go and double check but I'm not sure I'll drive 50 hours in a year.

You should change it twice a year even if you don't ride much.

You can't be denied a warranty claim just because you used a different oil. I get my oil (Amsoil) from Napa and Purolator Pure One filters from Advance Auto Parts. I change my oil every 50 hours, which equates to twice a year for me.

Mornin colt100
I have an 06 500 X-2 and I use
Advance Auto .
Filter Purolator oil filter = PL14612 (not the P14612. You need the check valve)
Oil = Mobile one 0-40
Transmission = 90 wt. Synthetic
Front tranny = only Polaris > MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT STUFF FROM THEM. The new stuff will work in the old tranny. the old stuff will NOT work in the new tranny.. (I have read bad things happen) I think your's will be the LT fluid.

You can go on NAPA put you vehicle and get there parts number the go to fram and cross ref and get there's about 5.50 each napa is still about ywice that price and the steelers are still higher. For oil it is full synthetic but heard from sevel people dont use car oil atleast use bike oil dont know what the differance is so at $9.00 a quart I need something different in my older 600 after I had 2k I started using mobil one 0-40 and had no problems and thats $5.00 a quart. For changing oil I change 250 to 300 miles all oils about $40 a wack but 30-40 miles from no where and break down plus take it to a shop just hello is a $100
