shocking question

Hey there, I have a 97 sp500, and the rear shocks have had it. Polaris here in canuck land want $150 each for replacements. Does anyone know of an alternate supplier?

Are you sure the shock are done?Is it because the rear end doe's not stand back up to attention when you get off the bike and you have to lift it to help it out?This Happen to a person I know and all he had to do was change the rear a-arm bushings.This was mostly his fault do to not greasing the rear end that often.

Yah the shocks are toast. At the top where the shaft exits the shock there is extensive wear, so much so, the shaft actually has side to side movement.
