Default Puking Gas

Especially right after I start up my 2 stroke Scrambler, I'm getting lots of gas out the vent tube. However, when I run it for awhile it calms down quite a bit. Is this normal and what do I adjust to lessen the leakage? Should it leak any at all? The tube is coming from the carb.

Im pretty sure it is not supposed to leak copious amounts of explosive propellant. I think that the float may be sticking or like the other guy said the needle valve.

Needle and seat under the float is bad , replace it then start turning the gas off when machine is parked and it will last a long time.

Ah Kerbirds, you caught me. I feel like my hand is in the cookie jar. I never turn the gas off. I never knew why they have those shut offs. OK, I will start doing that. Also, Stendori, it's not from the tank, but thanks for mentioning, it never hurts to check on that stuff.

I heard that transporting them without turning the gas off was BAD for it.
