Default Storage boxes for Sportsmans

All -

I am looking for good Rear Storage box
for my SP800. I know there are alots of
products out there. I would prefer the
hard case Vs soft bag type. I am interested
in as Waterproof and tight as possible. What are
you all using? Does the load&lock Rear Storage
box do pretty well? A backrest or seat would be
nice if I were to buy one but I would like to know
what you all recommend by your "experiences" Vs
prodcut claims. Please post pics (or links) too!

Thanks,

R'

Howdy R'...........The Plano cargo box from Cabels is watertight and dustproof. Very sturdy.....held down by bungee cords and imagination. The box is on the back rack of my bud's 2007 Sportsman 500 deluxe. We have been in bad weather and the inside of the Plano stayed dry. The same for dusty conditions we've been in....no dust. According to UPS my Extra Large Cabelas storage box should be here tomorrow. It's bigger than the Plano.....I don't know how tuff it is yet but I need the bigger size for all my goodies. I have front and rear cargo bags now but the stuff inside still manages to get damp and or dusty.....making the switch to hard boxes all the way around.

ok, went and measured for ya .. 11 1/2 inches high, 38 inches wide and 13 inches long. almost forgot if you get the box/seat don't forget the side bags. it's a nice place for refreshment storage ;&gt

Cool,

Thanks for all the input. yea I like yours Caper, do you have a lot of storage capacity
or is most of it in the seat? I believe you can accessorize yours right? With hand warmers
and seat warmers for the passenger?
