Looks like a Swisher system. Go here.....

Swisher also has a web page but I couldn't find any good pictures. I would bet this is what is on the machine

It looks like the "OEM" polaris sportsman plow setup from 04. I had one on my 04 sp700. The 03 500 sp plow setup is almost the same but the tube is a lil diferent length. Both attached through the hitch hole in back and pivoted at the plate tube in front.

So, If I can get it to work on mine... is it a good plow? Worth the effort?

I did not really care for mine. Caught a buried piece of ice and popped 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the 2 sections of tube together and bent the tube. Tried to straighten it but was never the same. It would ride up over the snow. If it is too short you may be able to fabricate a spacer where they bolt together. I know when I went from 03 - 04 I had to get a new tube, cant remember about the piviot plate in front. It was better than the ones that mount to the frame in front. This may have been my downfall thinking that it was indestructible because I did put it through alot. On my 05 I went with a plow made by a guy that lives near here and has worked great for 2 years now.

If you look at my pictures on my page I have some pretty good pictures of the Swisher mount on an 07 800.
I have the ATV bucket and while it isn't a tractor I like it.
The system like all mounts for ATV's lacks ground pressure and so therefore will ride up over things.

I do like the firmness of the mount system and it comes off and goes back on easy enough.
When the frame is mounted under the ATV it isn't much fun to ride because of the way it stiffens all the suspension. Otherwise, it serves the purpose.
I moved 5yds of compost for the wife and then piled the next batch in one day.
Also when I took the ATV to the ATV pulls, people got a real kick out of me pulling up to a sandy loam pile and loading my bucket up then pulling with it full then dumping it in a pothole they had created...

What a kick. A lot of people ask about it.
