Default Polaris Sportsman 800 '2008

Hi, can anybody help me to find out if I can use my spare belts from 2005 Sportsman 800 for the new 2008? I am traveling soon from Gadalajara to Puerto Vallarta and the mud will be very fun!! & I dont want to notice it doesnt work in the middle of the trail, thanks!

here is the part no# for an 08'- 3211113 Belt, Drive
here is one for an 05'- 3211106 Belt, Drive so as you see, no there not the same belt. i beleave an 06' is a differnt no# as well.

Thanks a lot for your answer, I understand the numbers are different, but the size seems the same, do you think the 3211106 will fit on the 2008 for an emergency?, do Polaris really changes the size on the clutch & belts year by year? Thanks

On the 800s the 3211106 belt was only for '05 and '06 and the 3211113 is only for the '07 and '08.

Ocasionally they replace one part with a better one, and the new one has a higher number on it, but that's not the case here. They're two different sizes.

the 07' non ebs is a differnt belt number

I checked aftermarket numbers from Carlisle, Goodyear and EPI and none are the same for the 2005 vs. the 2008. Might work in a crunch, buy doesn't look like it's the same belt.
