cv bands

Default cv bands

I got one set on but the other (right front) is killing me. does anyone know any little tricks to make it easier. I have the stupid little tool that comes with them, the on that looks like a socket with a slit cut in it. I'm sure there is something I'm missing. I guess I just got lucky with the other side.

sounds like the tool for the aftermarket strap tightener.

Its looks pretty easy in the video, I guess I will just have to keep trying. I dont know how to post pictures on here or I would.

My clamps were not that easy. That video is very deceiving. I had a removal tool and the force needed to take them off or put them on sheared the ears right off. Ended up having to use a different type of clamp since the dealer doesn't sell just a replacement clamp.

I use cv pliers with SMALL PINCHER tips,easy to install clamps! Most auto stores have them. about $28

The small Pincher pliers work well I have ones with spring loaded so really easy....

Just went through this on my 700. long handled needle nose did the trick.
