I agree with the heat issue. Mine throws a lot of heat and I am looking for ways to help with that. I have a couple posts looking for help on this out there now and there are a couple responses already.
Why get the oil changed after 25 hours and then 50 hours there after? What problems cause that to have to be done??

Cocho,
Look back at my posts and you will see I have alot of time servicing my 700 (leson learned)
Its a snap....Lhe hardest part is getting to the oil filter but once I got a good wrench it goes quick also a good socket allen wrench set.
Sorry Ill give you a little help
Posted this last Tuesday night
Spent the last 3 days flushing out all the fluids because I filled it with water.
The lesson I learned is a trail can change at anytime. I had just went through this hole 20 minutes earlier in the same spot and the water was up to the floor boards NOT THIS TIME Over the tank the water went and you can guess the rest. One good thing I did find out was just get off as quick as you can and it will float even at 900+ pounds with all my gear on it. With all the new oils and filters it was a costly mistake but i'm ready to ride this weekend.

Thats funny, I did the same thing with my grizzly a few mt. ago. riding in a creek never any problems and then it happened over on its side then under water. I was very Lucky, it took a couple Hrs but we did it all on the trail. With the help of the group of family riders I was with we did it. Trails change from hr. to hr. rain can do a lot. I was so glad I had a dry bag of clothes that I had carried for years and never used them. The paints were a little tight but dry. what kind of wrenches do you need to service it.

Buy yourself a good quality 5/16 hex head socket. It will fit the fill and drain points of the front diff and the transmission.I changed the break-in oil in the motor at 15 hours and the tranny and front diff at 40 hours.

there are 2 latches on the back rest on eather side ....unlock them pull the back rest to the front and pull on the black loop to the upright spot. then lift on the back rest it will slide up.. FYI if the seet is in the upright spot you can't lift the box and if you put the seat up when the box is up it will not lock back down.
Sorry now just lift on the back there is no true lever just lifts off..
