the winch as I understand was a deal polaris had going on. The labor to install it was something that I asked them to do. I live a couple of hours away for this dealer and for me coming back they installed it free . They had 4 700s a mt. ago and now they only have 1. I know they dropped the price but a total of $400.00 from the last time I was there 3 weeks ago.

Never said the 700 wasn't faster or stronger. But the hole shot on a standard 500 is just as good as a 700 efi. Now after the launch the 500 will quickly fall behind. The 800 has them both beat. We have a drag race every month here and the 500's almost always take the holeshot. It's not just rider error. The trail difference is based on rider opinion and I can't argue one way or the other except for personal opinion.

 

Stupid question How do you remove the seat on an X2?

 

I believe the 700 engine has found a home in the full size Ranger line. My son (ATV Guru) just bought an '08 700 Ranger Crew 6 passenger with a very high weight and tow capacity and they say the '09 is coming with the 700 also.
