What do you all thing about the new xtreme performance sportsmans. I saw them for the first time today in an e-mail Polaris Idustries sent me. Personally I don't care for the looks of them. Lets hear what everyone else thinks about the XP Sportsmans.

 

I like them. There must be 1/2 dozen threads here on them by now. I don't think I'll have too much trouble getting used to the looks of them. Looks are maybe 5% of what matters, price 20%, performance 25%, and the way it feels when you ride it 50%. It's all about performance and having something that just feels right.

Two of my friends have Grizzly 660s and like them but when I take one for a spin it feels like it was made for someone 5 feet tall, not 6 feet and over, and it feels really tippy when I turn, even going slow. Riding full throttle they can outrun me by a little, so they have performance. I would only be 25-30% happy with one. That's not god enough for me. I want total satisfaction and come close to getting it. I would be close to getting it with the XPs too.

 

You're right looks isn't the most important thing. I'd never not buy a polaris because of its looks, cause I know what they are like performance wise in their class. (The Best) [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I like the new look of the sportsmans.....Im sure these will be sweets quads but im gonna wait till next year to buy one just cause of all the new stuff on the quad....like my hawkeye the 06 compared to the 07 even tho hawkeye are there bottom end im just gonna wait it out...

 

I like the looks and plan to buy one. Depending upon what Honda comes out with in the Rincon that is.

It will have to be something a lot better than the '08.

The new sportsmans sure look nice. I like how they finally got rid of the 760 as their top model. I wonder how the 850 compares to the can-am 800r

 

I put a deposit down on a Stealth Black,09 850 XP EPS today. I guess I'll be a guinea pig lol.

 

I wish I could get one of the new ones. I wonder if eventually all of the sportsmans will look like the new XP's.
