As much as I will miss it, the 250 in my sig is on ebay. I found something else and my wife says 1 has to go before I get another. Doc

Old 250's hard to beat getting from point A to point B! Easy to repair and rebuild.Just had to keep filters clean and would run on old gas that would make a HONDA puke. Kinda sorry that they are no longer in the Polaris lineup.

i was reading some of the mods and you shaved .050 off the head with .020 over? I bet that had a little bark to it.

That little bugger really rocks. If I were to end up keeping it, I would have another head done at .025 to be able to run 93 octane. I will miss it though, I think a utility is better for me. Doc

I wasn't on ebay "motors."
I'm sure if I was in the right spot 1992 polaris thail boss would of probably worked. I'm not a fast typer.
I can't believe there has been no bidders, good shape and must run great.
I like it but my old 90 TB 250 is torn down right now. No money to blow right now.
I then bought a .30 bored over with a shaved head banshee (with a long list of other mods). Its a fast machine but can't do the laidback trail riding my friends and I do between each others houses through some interconnecting trails. Most of the time its a late night taxi trail for Quads. I'm excited to get the polaris back in shape it was my first quad when I was a kid.
I love the automatics.
Good luck with the sale!
Sucks to see something go.
Can't you get racks for it?
I imagine you are looking for AWD Auto?
