Ok so wifes chain was to lose even at the tightest setting, was going to cut out a link and fig meh what the heck 65 bucks get new one. I went to my dealer to get one and they did not have, but one of the guys was like hey we have bulk o ring chain we can just cut ya one i was like fine, (was going for ride in morning) get off work go to take old chain off get masterlink off and still have to cut the pins to get off no big thing. Get the chain off put the new one on thinking 15 mins in not bad! Ha Ha Ha not the case, chain was to short by one or two links. Was like ****, o well i will just cut old one for the ride in morning. Cut chain feeling reall good about myself at this point. Put old chain on with one less link and was looking good. Go to put master link on and well 3 hrs l8r still cld not get that POS on. I wrk on it for ever with clamps any thing cld not get the clip to go on for the life of me! It is going to the shop i will NEVER try this again so not worth the time! thanx for letting me vent!!! O ya starting to think that my dealer DONT KNOW ****!! Like come on the length of a chain that has been in production for o i dont know for ever LOL jsut dont get how they cnt knw simple things like this!

 

I HAVE NOT USED A DEALER IN YEARS,THE ONLY ONE FOR FIFTY MILES IS USELESS,THE PARTS GUY IS USELESS,TELLS ME HE HAS THE RIGHT PART IN HIS HAND,CHECKED IT WITH SERVICE(WHICH IS ALWAYS TOO BUSY TO TALK TO ME,BUT WHEN I GET THERE ITS THE WRONG PART+ THEY'RE HIDEING IN THE BACK DOING NOTHING)+AS FAR AS HAVING STUFF IN STOCK ONLY OIL+FILTERS+SOME ACC.NO CHAINS,NO SPARK PLUGS,NO BULBS,NOTHING. I'M SURE THERE ARE GOOD DEALERSHIP SERVICE+PARTS GUYS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE BUT I'LL NEVER EXPERIANCE THAT.SO THANKS FOR EBAY+INTERNET
