epi clutches

does the utility cluch make you lose speed ? does the sport utility cluch make you lose power

I had good experiences with the Sport/Utility on my Xplorer and Scrambler 400's. Great acceleration and better power to the ground. Gave my Scram tons of torque and the gave my Xplorer tons more.

Some have said very good things and others not so good. I personnaly think a clutch kit is the strict minimum someone needs to do on there quad. At least with the clutch kit you know your using the power of your motor to a greater extent.

I would love a clutch kit also, but EPI's website says for altitudes 0-2000'. I live at 2600 and ride to 8000. This leaves me out..

I'd suggest you call and talk to Chad Erlandson.

While the kit is optimized for lower elevations, it really cannot be much different at elevations than your current setup at the same elev.

If nothing else, he he could likely recommend/provide a slightly lighter weight for you.

what clutch is good for me i have 26" outlaws on a 99 sportsman 500 i wants some more torque what clutch kit will give me more torque and how hard will it be to install thanks
