Dazed,
Check out the MN DNR website. They will send you all the maps of ATV trails you could possibly want. The best part is they are free.

StitchZR2, That I know of there is only about 6 miles of legal atv trails in Chengwatana but there is close to 50 miles of unmarked trails. most are extremly muddy! The rumor I've heard is they are spose to be adding about 30 miles of legal trails soon but the group MRR (minnesotains for Responsible Recreaction) keeps throwing rocks in the cogs of the already slow process. The ATVAM web sight has info on these idiots! There the ones that keep messing with the Nemadji too.
We almost always enter on the other end but its only about a 20 min road blast to get to the co rd 14 entrance. BTW a Artic Cat is more than capable of keeping up. Have you ever riddin past the 2 cabins out there and on to the other side?

I have not riddin that far in. We eaither go into the forest right off Co. Rd. 14 or we go down Co. Rd. 129 and enter in their. But most of the time we just ride the roads and do work around the cabin. I really liked my 400 4x4 but then i rode a 500 and wanted one in the worst way. Hey can you do me a favor. Call over to Nordal Marine and see what his price is on the 500 (Shift) Thanks that would be great. Also how can you get up to Supior WI. Last time we tried we went though The Namgie Forest and then road up the gandy dancer but we only made it 50 miles or so and the trail started to disapere. So being the good sportsman that i am we turned around. And headed back. I call the DNR and they are sending me taril maps which should help because i know there is a way to get up their.
Thanks for your Help.

StitchZR2, I'll try and remember to call Rick Nordal tommorrow. You have never really been in Chengwatana if you haven't been down to the cabins, but then again some of those crossings have fish in them so you really need to go with somone that knows the routes through them! You can get all the way down to the Kettle river and over to the Snake.

Thanks for checking on the price for me. I don't know what it is but i can afford a $6,000 toy but i dont want to make a 5 min long distace phone call. The best price i can find so far is 5595+tax,lic, and $69 for the warn 2000lb winch. I don't think Rick will be able to come close to that price but its worth a try. Did you get your ATV's from that dealer right in town. He looks high on price, but he also looks like he knows what he is doing as far as repairs
Thanks
Thanks
