Default HELP

i have a 98 polaris xplorer 400 with an automatic tranny, last saturday i was ride in a local mud hole well i picked the biggest mud hole around like a jackass. i went off in it and buried my front end so i pushed the override button and started backing up fast and i heard two popping sounds. well i finlly got out and put it in high gear and took off at first the 4wheeler ran fine than it started revving real high and then going into high drive, now it will not go into high drive, it will run just revves real high and will not even out. i'm afraid of burning the motor up. can anybody help me with this.
