Yea, thanks for the tire info. I agree that color is cool. I was going to pick it, but my
friends talked me out of it, kept saying it would get all nasty, busted up, scratches
and then look like crap. While that conversation was going on my dealer came over
and convinced me that the CAMO and the STEALTH were the more durable (heat molded).
So I liked the black anyway and went with it. There was NO BLUE like Stendori has, that
could of made the difference with me, I really like Blues and Greens and didn't like the 06 Blue
that much but the 08's/09s are really sharp looking.

Anyways, I need to price out those tires more, when I am ready, I'll keep ya posted (no pun intended, LOL)

Ran 70 mph and there is no tire vibrations or handle bar "wiggle". I am very impressed.

Koerbs..
That looks great....Great combo....I'd love to get a new set of tires and wheels but I can't seem to find enough time to ride to wear out my PXT's...I know many don't like the PXT's but I've had good luck with them...

RticKwad..
Keep us posted...

I HATE to sound like a broken record (those who may have noticed from previous
posts and theads, LOL) but what is the BIG difference in having 14" Vs. 12" in
the Rear tires? What gains do you get from 2 more inches? I'd like to know,
coming from my weight (body) and having a higher elevation of 1" would it
be safer?

Regards,

What? If your talking about rims, a bigger rim has nothing to do with the tire height. The difference in a bigger rim is better handling, less floation, and cooler looking.

Sorry I didn't explain myself I meant to say tire width.

Example: (If I order a ITp 589 M/S) - 27x11-12 Vs. 27x11-14

Options - # Front : 25x8-11, 25x8-12, 26x9-12, 27x9-12, 27x9-14, 28x9-12 (6-ply). Rear: 25x10-11, 25x10-12, 25x12-10, 26x12-10, 26x12-12, 27x11-12, 27x11-14, 28x11-12 (6-ply).

You are still refering to rim size according to your example. The last number is rim size. example - 27x11R12

Yep. That's the same width and diameter tire, but a different diameter wheel.

Okay Okay, (Sorry its so hard to explain
my point) you all are correct. Sorry if I
confused "Tire" with "Wheel".

Now, when you put the tire on the rim and
that equalls - THE WHEEL. Right? What advantages
is it for me to have the 14" Vs. the 12"?
Do I get more traction in the Mud? Is it for
better stability?

Point of all these questions is me researching
what is better for my needs before I buy.

P.S. I hadn't ever bought aftermarket wheels before,
I guess I am a newbie on this one, LOL

Thanks for all the help!
