Default Everyone check their oil

I just cleaned up 800 after this past weekend. I checked the oil the morning of our first ride day and when i checked it again today i was showing nothing on the dip stick. I drained less than 1 quart out and refilled it. I think maybe this is why i was having problems on sunday with it not wanting to run. Do thiese bikes have some kind of limp mode on them.

Was the Quad on it's side or rolled over..................Check your airbox .......
If it's not leaking,.......and not burning it.............It must be in the coolant or the airbox!!.....Caper.........

No role or anything. The coolant is clean the airfilter is dirty but not oily. it must have been burning it. I checked it on thursday morning.

well since theres only 2 qts in there in the first place then 1/2 of the oil was gone. unless it was missing in the first place its either burning it or leaking it somewhere.

It has to be burning it. I did the forst oil change back before the Memorial day ride and i only road it twice since then till Laborday weekend. I checked our first day down there and it was fine. God i hope i didn't hurt it. When it was running correctly it was powerfull as all hell. No loss of nuts.

Seems like it would be smoking pretty good to burn a quart within just a few rides.
