Picked up 02 700 cheap

While I was out riding my Harley through the back roads I came across what I thought was a sharp looking ATV with a 4 sale sign on it so I stopped and after looking it over I knocked on the door and started dickering with the owner. The owner was a 62 year old man who bought it new and had been out hunting and had it go into a drainage ditch on a old logging road and when he went in it snapped the strut housing where the axle goes through, broke the outer CV joint and broke the brake line all on the right front side. The machine other then the damage mentioned is in EXCELLENT shape, I got on ebay and for 199. + 20. shipping I picked up on a "buy it now" deal the whole right front corners stuff - lower A arm, strut housing with strut and spring, lower ball joint, rotor & caliper and whole axle with good boot on CV joint - all guarantied good and ready to bolt on and ride. End result was "02" 700 with 141.5hrs & 1792 miles for $1000.00 which I thought was a excellent price - Anything as far as tips or weak links I should be checking for? -----------Once the photos get approved if there is the little camera under my avatar click on it and the 700 is photos 3 and 6

I've got the same quad and love it.Ive had to fix the starter a time or to but for what I put it though she's held up great. If you like the mud the one thing I would tell you to do is pull the battery out and rub some grease all over the sides then put it back in.It fits so tight in the box I couldnt get mine out because of the dirt around the sides.I had to take a hammer and smash the battery to get it out. When it was time for a new one.If it runs hot I've got a fix for it...

How can I post some photos of it on here in the forum? You can click on the camera under my avatar to see the 700 its photos 3&6 but i wanted to post them here in forum.</end quote></div>
I use the site "tinypic.com" to post pictures on here. Just go to their site and you'll see a browse button to your lower right. Click it to browse your pics on your computer. When you see the one you want to post double click it and their site will upload it allowing you to resize it. Once it uploads you'll be able to cut and paste the image link directly to this site. It works good and it's fast and easy!
