Jack up machine front and back, with AWD OFF,crank and put in low,see if either front tire engages. If you mean steering locking up(pulling to one side) could be in either hub. Usually armature plate behind hilliard assy magnetized allowing awd to operate. If this is your problem,I would replace both plates. CHECK fluid level first, also can cause problems if low or dry. Armature plate has 3 tabs that line up on back of hilliard. Check also for worn, pitted bearings and leaking at hub or strut seals.Manual OR at least parts breakdown suggested to help in repair. Hub nut torques at 12 foot pounds. ALSO check CV boots for damage, could also be cause. Keep us posted. Good luck

May have a couple problems. Check bottom of steering stem where tie rod end attach and see if anything is locked up or stuck. My 250x would get stuck past the steering stops after they got worn. Only when going in reverse with bars turned all the way to one position. Just a thought
