No, they do not. They'd like you to believe they do, but in reality they do not. You have to read the fine print before you find out that their Thundercat 1000H2 is in reality a 951cc engine. Sorta like how Polaris use to lie and call their 760 and 800. Oh they weren't technically lying but they were sure being deceptive. Something I'm glad to see they have stopped doing with the new models. It's one thing to fudge a couple of cc or even 10 to make an even sounding number but 30-49ccs? That's just being deceptive.
And to the original question Can-Am, Arctic Cat and Polaris all make 2-ups. Which one is the best? I dunno. I haven't ridden an AC 2-up. The Can-Am is quite nice, at least the 800 I rode was. Some things I didn't like but it was ok. The Rotax engine was as wonderful as always. The Polaris 760/800 2-up I rode was awfully comfortable. Rode extremely, extremely well. The turf mode setting is a winner too. if I had o choose the Polaris would be hard one to pass up, especially the model with the pickup bed. I think that would be terribly useful. I also wish they'd make the 6x6 in a two up configuration. Now that would be something and it shouldn't be too terribly difficult for them to do either.

I got a 2008 700 twin a few months ago, and really like it. It has plenty of power, and the riders have a comfortable spot. Just put the big foot tires and wheels on it, and am taking it out for it's first trail ride with the new feet tomorrow.
