Polaris part # 9921315 covers 2008 Sportsman 500EFI/X2/Touring/500HO great manual if I prevents you only once from taking your bike to the dealer It's paid for itself .

 

i got my manual from e-bay, the 400ho might be a little too new but worth checking.

Polaris Manual for your machine #9921340. $19.99 on eBay. These are ~$60 at the dealer.
