1996 Xpress 300 weak spark

I just bought a 300 Xpress. I have vast experience with Jet Skiis and Moto X being that I use to race them pro. This 300 sparks but it is very weak. It will not fire. Any ideas?

its cheaper and easier to work from the spark plug back to the stator. I would just start replacing the cheaper things first
