hey everyone names Joe i just recently purchased a 2005 Polaris Scrambler 500HO. personally i think its a great quad, hav ran into ppl who dont like it but all that matters is i do like it. i couldnt pass up the deal quad has about 10 hrs of riding on it according to the previous owner. and from the looks of it thats about right. bought it with a Dalton clutch kit (no info on it other then the brand) and aftermarket grips with handwarmers. i added a K&N filter. btw i paid $2000 for it. im not new to Polaris I currently owner a 2002 Polaris Edge X 600 (snowmobile) clucthed, pipped, studded and geared. as well as a 1997 Polaris SLT-X 1050 (PWC). My bro also has a scrambler (2001) with K&N filter and FMF pipe. i just ordered a full set of skids for mine and my next mod is gonna be an exhaust. im looking for input on a slip-on. i dont want anything crazy loud or crazy expensive, right now i been looking at this system http://www.jcwhitney.com/Perfo...3+600018480_10113.jcw

any advice would be appreciated as they dont list the dcb lvl for that system, other options would be great as well. id like to keep the shipped total under $300 if possible.

heres my other hobby.....

Kara3434, looks like a really good deal. Like the truck too but you may want to blure the lic. plate #s. Many people read posts, and you just told them where you park it.
Can you tell I,ve had stuff stolen before!!!

wow that was a helluva deal on that scrammy!! nice werk. that thing is clean.

FMF makes a real nice slip on for the 500. tuneable and not too loud.

if you search the internet, theres alotta great info in the gen3 polaris machines.
