Front diff locking

Front diff locking
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the front diff locking in a peculiar scenario.
If I back up with a loaded trailer when riding down hill, then go forward again, the front diff locks and its crazy heavy to turn either way. It releases when ADC disconnects it seems. The very reason i had go in reverse to begin with is that it is a very sharp turn, making this issue very uncomfortable. It is happening consistently.
I have called the dealer, and they were abit puzzled, but concluded that it is probably supposed to be like this, because the 4x4 mode in reverse locks the front diff, and the "mechanics" wont release it while the systems are in tension.
Is this true or bs? Is there someting seriously wrong?

Have you tried swithing out of 4x4 before you go back forward? I know they say it is only supposed to lock "on demand" but I have found(as well as confirmed by others) that at low speeds when making tight turns it will engage/lock the front end. Presumably caused by different wheel speeds during the tight turn. If you can switch it out of 4x4 for your turn try that. Obvioulsy you won't have ADC, but you can use the brakes.
