Did anybody notice the much higher location of the RAD on the new lay-out?????

I wish my 2006 had the rad where the winch is....and the winch where the rad is!!!!!
.....I think this will be better to clean and the less chance for 'MUD" to bake to it!!!

Where is the mount for the winch?
Below the rad looks closed in to me?.

and they made it 20% bigger and tilted it 5% more for better flow

there is plenty room under the red for a winch. the front has a plastic over the hole, thats why i think it looks closed up to you

That's one of the features I did like when I made my choice on buying Polaris......

They have a lock and ride storage box that replaces the front rack, should be standard equipment IMO.

That is correct. The entire front rack is part of the quick lock system. So...as an optional accessory it is possible to purchase a low profile box with lid. Just remove the OEM rack...and install the low profile box. Pretty cool...IMO, but just more cost too!

There looks to be two plastic hinges if you look at the front of the quad....
So this means he bought this rack and it's not the factory installed one?

I also seen the pic(winch location) on the Polaris ad that keeps popping up here at the top of the page
I like the RAD higher .......But now you may need to reach into the water or mud puddle to grab the winch....................Unless you have a strap on the hook and it reaches the rack to attach it above the water or mud line!!........Now instead of keeping the Rad clean .....The winch will be full of mud......

Let us know how you like the location.......This is you first Polaris so maybe I should be asking someone else?

yeah i think it should be standard and not cost anymore. polaris is known for their storage so why take that away? i paid enuff for the damn thing it should come with it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]
