no i was not trying to get stuck. i was riding slowly down a crick bed that i thought was solid. al lthe sudden the bottom fell out and i hit the gas. by that time it was to late.

i am looking for a place to buy a mount and winch. i cant find a place that has mount for the xp.

you are right about the rad from the wheel wells. they do need more protection.

Here is the Polaris 2500#, bolts right on has everything you need. There is a 3500# XP winch as well,but the only place I have seen those available is at my local dealer.

it says it will fit the 09's but the pic, it could be wrong, does not look like the bolt holes will line up with anything. lobo is this the same winch you have? are the holes on that plate really that way?

You can't go by the pic, I think they use the same pic for all of them, check the part number, it should be for the XP.

I checked the number it is for the XP, that pic is generic. Notice both are listed,2876592 is for the XP.
