More than ever I can,t see paying as much or more for a 550 with powersteering over a New 800 Sportsman efi.

09 xp550 vs 09 800 specs and price.

Yea the new designs are cool for sure. But with the economy and people's pockets tighter
I wonder how much of these Polaris will sell at a higher price? Me I am still happy with my 08'

Regards,

Nice vid but all I can Imagine is a person following the XP550's every move on a 09 SP500 H.O with $2000 extra in his pocket with a big grin on his face.

Or

A person on a 09 800 Sportsman with $200 extra in his pocket screaming at the guy on the 550 to get out of his way because he's coming though.

My dealer has the 550 priced $300 less than a 09 800, and $600 more than a 09 500 EFI.

You mean $300 less than the 800 not the new 850 I hope. Which is still bad enough.

Mid size costing more then big bores is just wrong. Can,t see polaris selling a whole lot of them until thats corected.

Yea, it could be an attempt to justify their prices
buy making themselves whole again. Maybe sells
have been down? I have noticed recently, that
prices aren't going down with the gas prices nor
with the economy tanking. Now rumours of tax
increases?

Whats a man to do?

LOL,yes that is what I meant. I fixed it. The 550 is $300 less and an 800.
Thanks. If it helps, from what I have seen no one needs to pay MSRP for an XP, the better dealers realize that the pricing is off IMO. I'm getting the 850 for $1000 under MSRP.
