my father inlaw works at diamond vogal and got me some spray paint they had on the shelf for like 5 yrs. i dont know the brand but it was enamel. ill try and look tonight for a name brand. i have used the krylon walmart stuff and it just chips off all the time so thats why asked my father inlaw for some paint. i have not had it out in the woods yet to see if its going to last. this we are going riding so ill know how it holds up then

Yep, going to do the same to mine when I get it. Looks much better. Did you sand the silver a little and clean it with alcohol? That will make the paint adhere alot better and not be as likely to flake/chip.
