Default 2004 ATP 500HO Battery Issues

I have an issue with something that is causing my Battery to die. I need some help figuring this out. I know my Polaris Dealer will not help unless I pay the Big Bucks. I am trying not to have to bring it into the dealer at this time. I put in a new battery because the first one died when I turned on the headlights and went on a night ride. The ATP will run just fine, but when I turn the key to turn it off. The next time I try to start the engine the Battery is Dead. So far I think it is the lights that are killing the Battery. I will try not turning on the lights this weekend when I get into the woods. I have purchased a Brand New Battery. With the lights turned on the instrument panel will indicate a LOW BATTERY after the lights have been on for approx. 15 to 20 minutes or more.
Anyone have this issue before? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

First thought is regulator/rectifier mounted at front by radiator. Check for loose wires first.
