The optional front storage box looks awesome! Heck...the plow setup and saddle bags look good too. Sure does round out your XP. [img][/img]

Rancher, it looks like with the winch mounted as low as they are on the XPs and that long bracket on the plow to attach the winch that it really limits how high you can lift the plow. It seems as though when the plow is down there is only a few inches of cable out. Is that the case? I'm sure you could shorten the attach point on the bracket to give more plow travel if it's an issue.

Sweet looking machine BTW.</end quote></div>

I put a pic up on my page of how high it lifts. The winch hook is against the rollers in this picture. It lifts plenty high enough!

Looks real nice!
I'm still torn. Really think I'll end up going with a larger bag for the front when I go riding away from home. I can fit everything I need around the house in the back. The things I might need around here, eg chainsaw, wouldn't fit in there anyway,lol. Might fit in that big rear box though, but I like to have weight up front as I have to climb some steep stuff from time to time. Right now I just strap that stuff to the rack. I might get some of those grippers that Koplin makes. Anyone tried those? I might get that little bag that goes under the rack as well.

That looks like a great box, and a great looking ATV... and I mean it looks "BAD @$$"!

Looks like there is a little more room in that box than the built in box on the front of the regular Sportsman.

Hope you get many years of trouble free enjoyment out of it.

Does Polaris make a soft bag too? My Prairie 650 had the factory Kawasaki front bag and I really liked that because it wasn't too heavy.

IronBear;
Yes Polaris does make a soft bag for the front of the XP's. I saw one at the dealer when I was in there last Thurs.
It dosn't have quite as much room as the hard box as it's only about 3" - 4" deep, but it's nice too!

They don't have the site updated for the 2009 models yet.

However, here is the link when they do...
