Okay I think we are on the right track. she was alittle hard to start since the carb was completely dry. But after alittle finese it started an ran pretty good. Took it up and down the streets alittle and got better after beating on it a couple of times. The few things I noticed 1. The header got real cherry hot (maybe normal but it was dark and I never noticed before) 2. Reved up quicker 3. when coming to a stop the idle seems to be alittle high and drops as it's idling (yes it actually idles now I think I am on the right track now. I am gonna return to the garage now and check the misterious needle. You are a lifesaver fire appreciate it very much. Check back later after I am done

Yeah, when you think you got it right make a wide open throttle run and shut it down from all out and then check your plug to make sure it is not white, which means you are too lean and need to increase your main jet. If it is black, which I doubt at 160, you are too fat and need to go down on the main jet.

Ha, there always is. Removing the tank can be a pain. Make sure you pull the fuel hose down before reinstalling it so it doesn't get caught up and also make sure there is free play in the choke.

Try 175 right off the bat if you can locate it. Then you can go up or done if need be, but I think 175 will be right for you.

Ouch! The entire jet kit is only $50 from dynojet! Robbery! One of my local shops only charges like $5 for a jet and they keep plenty of them. Good luck!
