Default axle and carrier difference's

I have a polaris scrambler im moding up, Im custom making a chromoly swingarm, can other carriers and axle fit if modified if so what is the best carrier to use? or are the other manufacture carriers unique to only there quad? cant the carriers be flip around to have the chain sprocket on the side for the polaris tranny? any info please let me know... i also have welded a 87 trx 250r front end onto the chassis of the scrambler for a better ride and to lighten up the frame..
im planning on moding up the swingarm with bearings in the area which connects to the frame to have a better free swingin arm but i just need to know more about axle carriers and axles. thanks

RAD MFG makes a billet rear bearing carrier. You can get it with either sealed or tapered bearings. The one I got had a split seal and both seals were too small in diameter to fit the stock axle stubs/spacers? I had to buy Polaris seals to get it to work. They have early models with brake rotor on trans and later models for rear rotor '99 and newer. The ball-milled lettering is also upside down when mounted in operating position. I called them to let them know and it may be corrected now. They are the only company I am aware of that sells the billet carrier.
