Yeah sounds good, +5hp is nice too! Looks like it works on the 550 as well maybe?

I noticed that the Sportsman 800 has dual silencers, I would like to see a similar setup for the XP. I'm sure an aftermarket company would come out with something.

We have Websense and it blocks you tube so I need to wait until I get home to watch the video.

Thank you for providing us with this.

Yeah duals would be neat. Doesn't look to me that the 850 has as much room for exhaust as the 800 though.

You could do what this redneck did to his Mustang.

One of the guys at my dealer called HMF today. He was told that a programmer is required to keep the XP from running lean, another $299 or so, and that the programmers wouldn't be available for a couple of weeks at least.

I figured I would update this thread since the HMF Optimizer is finally available. I ordered mine yesterday and they said it would ship today.

Hey Frank your mustang just needs a lift kit.
Only then would it be a true RedNeck tool

You know something like this.

Or this.

Of course there is the venerable ATV hauler too.

I got the optimizer today and installed it..
I haven't done any real testing or tweaking on the base settings yet..too muddy out...I tried to make some base line WOT runs before I put the filter back in and it was useless..spinning the whole time..

My mounting location might change..this was just the easiest place to put it temporarily..I want to make a mount that will be secure and allow me to get to it by just removing the seat..same area..just where it is reachable without taking the side panel off..

Nice... looking forward to the test results.

Sure looks "clean" under there. ?
