Look at the Another new XP(850) Owner thread on page two. HIGHOCTANE has put new rims and tires on his machine. Start from the end and work back it's a long one. I just ordered some Mud Lite XTR's in 27 9 14 for the front and 27 11 14 for the rears for mine. I'm going to try putting them on the stock rims and see if there is clearance on the rear. I think they will work. they will only be 1/2 in wider than stock from center and it looks like there is over an inch of clearance.
Take care,
Dave

To add, there isn't anything special about the aftermarket wheels I have. They are ITP 212's that were on a Ranger. Now the offset isn't the same as factory but most aftermarket wheels aren't the same offset as factory on most machines as far as I know.
You are correct about the lug studs being metric, that just means you need metrc lug nuts. The stock lug nuts are too big in outside diameter to work with ITP wheels.
