I am considering adding a performance kit on my 1996 Scrambler 400. After searching the web, RCR seems to have the best deal for the money. A pipe/silencer, clutch spring, jets, and air filter mod for $325 appears good. Has anyone installed this kit on their Scrambler and how well did it work? Thank you.

The stage 1 kit rocks. There's a noticeable power increase.

The stage 1 kit is awesome. I love mine. Rick Ritter was great about answering questings too. You really won't be disappointed.

My RCR stage one kit was outstanding, but I dont use it anymore, and would be willing to get rid of it. I have a little more than what the kit includes. It was installed on a 2000 400 4x4.

ONe RCR mid-range pipe (it has been coated by Jet-HOt/Chrome appearence)
RCR silencer
Jet kit (260, 270 mains)
Air Box mod (has never been used)
2 Uni-Airfilters (1 has been used, the other is brand new/unused)
1 Plain Clutch spring

If anyone happens to be interested, email me at "quadbuster@earthlink.net"
