need help!!

Default need help!!

I building a buggy themotor is a 700efi 2004 polaris. I have the shop manual but i can not find were the cps (crank position sensor) sensor connects to the wiring harness?? One end is connected to the motor the i can not find were the other end goes??

maybe if you tell what color the wires are thats coming out of the sensor i can try to help trace. i looked at the wire diagram and dont even see a mention of the cps unless they call it something else. and no i cant copy the damn page and send it i tried. its something to do w/ the way i got it years ago sent to me. sorry.

by any chance is there 3 wires form thew sensor plug? one being w/orn, brown, and gry/orn finding a little bit of info the sensor runs to the ecu.

the manunal calls it a crankshaft position sensor, without the engine will not run. The three wires are yellow, white,and black. three in a row flat pins. I could not find it the wire dia. It is wired right into the side of the motor. This is a 700 polaris efi 2004 sportsmn
