It's not me so much that is bothered by the noise. Some of the places we ride are pretty close to some houses and it don't take much for people to complain these days. The laws in PA make riding an atv pretty much close to murder in the eyes of the local police. Me and my son have to drive about an hour and a half away to get to a place where we can ride without having to worry about getting in trouble. That is unless we go somewhere and have to pay to ride and then its 45 minutes. The place close to us is not friendly to LOUD machines. That is my main problem. If not for that I would not care, lol, with a helmet on I don't hear it much anyway.

 

i read this on yahoo, but u need to go to a muffler / exhaust shop. If that is where you were try another. You could have a hole in the pipe (repairable) a loose flange where the pipe bolts to the manifold or a hole in the muffler. An exhaust shop can make the pipe if that is what you do need. Stay away from dealers and the big guys like midas and such. Find a n independent if possible.
