Default new to this hole forum page

just joined this site today and was wanting to upload my pictures but dont know how to change the size of them. keeps saying file or picture size to big. any help here would be appreciated

You could open a photobucket account for high res stuff. Also I believe it or Picasa offer an online tool for resizing your pictures.
To resize your pictures, you need some form of software that allows you to edit the pictures and then resize them appropriately.
MS Paint won't do it, but MS Office usually comes with a picture editor.

Once you know what package you are using or what platform you are working in. Windoze or Linux, etc we can probably help more.

If you look it will show you the max size for your avatar in pixels. simply resize it to fit. any photo editing software will let you resize an image.

Sounds like your getting good advice on resizing. just remember that once you make them a small file size you don't make them larger again! Copy the pic to another file and rename it and then make it smaller!

still having trouble with this issue. using photo bucket once copy and paste it on my page it doesn't do anything?

Are you clicking on the little picture frame icon at the top of the text box on the reply window first?

not sure i know what you mean about the icon... and thanks really learned alot just today about my quad really glad i found this. now if i could just figure out the pictures lol...
