Maybe they should let everyone on this thread do the reviews. Everyone in here sounds fair and knows what matters. I have been out on my xpedition 425 cc 5-speed with some sp500's and I will be fair. The 99 sp's, I know are faster then my xped. They go through deeper mud then mine. I do think my xped. is tougher but don't know how to
test that. I love my xped. and thats what counts. I was riding one time with 2 honda's and after they drove through this one spot and parked. They watched me go through and they told me they were impressed with my xpedition, because it drove through with ease. Thats not a review however. I also saw them go in some deep stuff to.

Wow, I guess I must re-read that article! I remember the Dirtwheels article saying that they rated the SP500HO best, but they also made the comment that the Ruby was very close. Remember, they rated the Ruby AHEAD of the SP500 (nonHO). So, I guess I don't see the butt-whooping that you do. The HO is awesome, but a butt-whooping?

I think they should rate them in categories: you know - best utility for work, best utility for trail riding, best utility in mud/snow, best sport for dunes, best sport on the track, best sport for trails...etc.
The way they review them now it is hard to know how they will rate for your particular use. If they include top speed, jumping ability, and handling on pavement in a utility test, and all I want to do is work, the top machine may not be for me. In fact, by their criteria, a ranger may not be as good a utility machine as a banshee with a hitch bolted on back.
