What's a good way to get some more power? I have a 2008 sportsman 500 H.O., very happy with it so far, looking for best bang for the buck upgrades...exhaust? what else?

CLUTCH KIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!Polaris detunes the clutching on all their ATVs.You will get alot more out clutching than a pipe.

 

How much is a clutch kit? Something I can buy on Ebay?

 

you can buy them on ebay, but me and alot of others will recommend giving Rick Ritter a call, from what I hear he knows just about everything there is to know about pipes and clutching, even though his website isn't the greatest, I'd give him a call

 

Dont mess with the EPI kits you see on Ebay.Go with RcR,HPD or Aaen.RcR will steer you to a Dalton kit which is a litle higher but has the BEST results.Any one of these you choose call them on the phone and tell them what you want out of a kit and they will set you up

I'd recomend buying a Aaen clutch tuning book. The more you do to a motor (I mean to the extreme) the more risk of failure. The more horsepower you are running is nothing if you're not getting it to the ground.

 

With clutching also goes a K & N filter, plus then (Aaen) has some nice air box mods
